- Ingredients:
- 2 Part Tequila (Blanco recommended)
- 1 Part Cointreau (or Triple Sec if in a bind)
- 1 Part Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice)
- Counts:
- I typically do something like 6 count Tequila, 3 count Cointreau, and 1.5 limes (2 limes if the tiny kind)
- Garnish:
- Corse Salt on Rim, lime slice, jalapenos slide for spicy marg
- Variations:
- Grand Marnier floater on top of your Marg after you pour it in the glass is a baller move (of course, prompted by suggestion from DRG)
- Add jalapenos to your mix and use Tajin Seasoning instead of course salt on the rim if you like it spicy (I am a big fan of the spicy variety)
- You can add a splash of grapefruit juice or orange juice
- You can throw it in the blender with some ice if you want a cold drink by the pool
- If you are a big cucumber fan, you can muddle some up and add to the drink
- If you are a mango fan, you can try replacing half of the lime with mango juice or muddle up some mango (warning, have not made this in a while so don’t hold me to this one)
- Wouldn’t really play with the ratios here
- Storage:
- None of the ingredients need to be refrigerated
