The witches are great, and a healthy dose of headology makes the world go round. Death makes an appearance, we meet Casanunda, and there are also tons of little stories that weave for the witches to interrupt.
Prattchet has filled this book with references to other stories, like the witches being chased by Smeagol (or rather a reference to him) as they leave the dwarven mine, or echoes ofDracula when they reach a small village and a bat keeps trying to gain entry to their hotel.
This took me a little while to read, but maybe I was just busy with life and slow reading.
